Stella-Artois is a typical pils beer with a golden yellow color, a foamy white head and a lightly bitter aftertaste. It is by far the best known Belgian pils beer and probably one of the best known pils beers in the world. It is a nice and refreshing beer with and alcohol content of 5.2%.
This beer has been brewed at the Artois brewery in Leuven since 1926. The year that is mentioned on the bottle (1366) and the horn, which is the symbol of Stella-Artois, both refer to Brewery De Hoorn (the horn). That brewery was the predecessor of what became later brewery Artois, and is currently owned by beer giants AB Inbev.
