St Feuillien Saison is a traditional farmhouse beer from Western Wallonia. It is a rich, golden blonde beer with a slightly bitter and dry flavor. It has an alcohol content of 6.5%.
This beer has only been produced since 2009, at the request of many US customers who are fond of such “hoppy” beers. When this beer was launched in the USA, it was such a success that the launch in other countries (including Belgium) had to be delayed. In its relatively short history, Saint-Feuillien Saison has won several prestigious prizes and medals, including the title of "World's Best Saison Ale" at the World Beer Awards in 2009 and 2010.
Brasserie St-Feuillien is a family-owned brewery located in Le Roeulx, near La Louviere. The name of their beers refers to the nearby abbey of St-Feuillien. Their flagship beer is the St Feuillien Triple, a rich Belgian triple Ale with a lot of spices.
