With its annual production of 18,000 hectoliters, the Trappist Abbey of Rochefort is currently the second smallest in Belgium. It is located in a hilly landscape in the rural Southeast of Belgium. The 15 remaining monks spend their days praying, meditating and brewing their wonderful beers. This tradition started over four centuries ago, and continues to this day. Besides this beer, they also brew the amber colored Rochefort 6 and the world famous Rochefort 10, which has an alcohol content of more than 11%.
