Leffe Triple is a top fermentation beer, re-fermented in the bottle. It has a golden color and a fresh aroma, with hints of lemon. Its flavor is fruity and quite full. A strong and refined beer with an aromatic aftertaste and an alcohol content of 8.4%.

Leffe Triple is one of the three Leffe beers that were originally brewed at the Leffe abbey near the Walloon town of Dinant, before the production was moved to Leuven. The brewing history at the abbey of Leffe dates back to as far as 1240 when the local monks decided to follow the example of several other abbeys in Belgium and brew their own beers. The very first beer they brewed was Leffe Brune, a dark abbey beer with an alcohol content of 6.6%.
For a long time, this was Leffe’s only beer. But later the abbots also started producing a blonde beer, called Leffe Blonde. And finally they also decided to make a stronger version of this blonde beer : Leffe Triple. These beers are so famous that the town of Dinant recently opened a ‘Leffe House’ where visitors can learn about the history and the brewing process of these famous beers.
