This beer is brewed at Trappist Abbey ‘De Koningshoeven’ near Tilburg in the Netherlands. The La Trappe beers are the only beers in this shop that are not brewed in Belgium. The brewing tradition at De Konngshoeven dates back to 1884 and this beer is one of the oldest beers of the current La Trappe range. They have the largest product range of all Trappist abbeys: they started with traditional beers like this La Trappe Blond, its dark counterpart La Trappe Double and a La Trappe Tripel. But next to that, they also brew unique beers like a white beer, a biological blond beer, an amber quadruple beer and some more.
