Kessel 69 is an amber-colored beer by Brewery De Vlier. It is a bottom fermentation beer, which has undergone a second fermentation in the bottle. It has rich aroma of hops and spices, and a nicely balanced flavor with hints of caramel. The beer was created for a special event in the town of Leuven, where people born in 1969 celebrated their 40th birthday together. It has an alcohol content of 6.9%.

Brewery De Vlier is a micro-brewery located in Holsbeek, in the province of Flemish Brabant. The brewery was founded in 2008, when they produced only one beer, Kessel Blond. By now, they produce no less than eight different beers.
