Bush Ambree is an amber top fermentation beer by Brasserie Dubuisson. This beer has existed since 1933 under the name ‘Bush Beer’. It was later renamed to ‘Bush Ambree’ (Bush Amber).
It still is the brewery’s most famous and best-selling beer. Just like all beers from this brewery, it is brewed with only natural ingredients: malts, hops, sugar, water and yeast. It has a beautiful amber color and a complex, balanced and refined flavor. It has an alcohol content of 12.0%, which makes it one of the strongest beers of Belgium.
Serving temperature: 5-10 °C
Brasserie Dubuisson was founded in 1679 as a farmhouse brewery in the Wallonian province of Hainaut. In 1931, the farming activities were abandoned in order to fully concentrate on the brewing. A choice that paid off because the breweries’ beers, and especially the Bush beers, are a big success, both in Belgium and abroad. Besides this amber Bush beer, they also brew a blonde version, called Bush Blonde, a strong beer with and alcohol content of 10.5%.
