We have three different kinds of low-alcohol beers or non-alcoholic beers in our shop. The first one is the non-alcoholic beers, these beers contain between 0.0% and 0.5% of alcohol, and examples of those beers are Jupiler NA, Maes Zero and Hoegaarden 0.0%. In fact they are copies of well-known beers, but then without the alcohol. A second category are the table beers. These beers contain around 1.5% alcohol and they owe their name to the fact that people drink them with their meal. These beers are slowly disappearing. The most famous brand in this category is the Piedboeuf beer. The third category are the pils beers with a slightly lower alcohol content (3-3.5%) than the regular pils beers (around 5%). These beers are mainly served at festivals and sports event to prevent people from getting too drunk. The difference in flavor with the regular pils beers is hardly distinguishable. The best known beer in this category is Jupiler Blue.
